The LDS London Family History Centre (currently sub-letting from the National Archives at Kew) has a huge and, in my opinion, quite wonderful resource in the form virtually all the Grantor Indexes, Townland Indexes and Abstracts of Deeds from the Registry of Deeds in Dublin, 1708-1929. I've written extensively about my experiences with these microfilms on the LDS Registry of Deeds microfilms page on this site. However, when I was trying to create a timeline of land transactions in relation to specific townlands, I found myself going squinty-eyed trawling through the on-line catalogue to try to find the films for particular counties in chronological order. So, I decided to create my own lists for each county that hopefully makes it much easier to move forwards or backwards in time when searching for deeds connected with particular townlands.
Every county page now has an additional spreadsheet added that presents the microfilm numbers in chronological order. Organising them in this way also highlights the multiple filmings that were made especially of the later films, so if your first choice film is not available you can choose another.
